    1 . Brunei


Brunei capital: Bandar Seri Begawan
 Religion: Islam 67%, Mahayana Buddhism 13%, Christianity 10%.
 Brunei National Day: 23 February
 Politics of Brunei: Absolutism  The Sultan is the chief attorney.  It is both the Head of State, Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense.  The Prime Minister must be a Brunei citizen of Malay descent by birth.  And must be a Sunni Muslim. In addition, Brunei does not have a council elected by the people.
 Area: 5,769 sq.km., located in the northeast on Borneo Island in the South China Sea.
 Population: There are approximately 401,890 people (least in ASEAN), most of them ethnic Malay, followed by Chinese and indigenous peoples.
 Language: Malay is the official language and English is commonly used both in government and trade affairs, and it is used by Chinese people.
 Brunei's national cuisine: Amboyat is a favorite of Brunei.
 Brunei's national animal: the tiger

2. Cambodia



Cambodian capital: Phnom Penh

 Religion: Buddhism 95 percent, Islam 3 percent, Christianity 1.7 percent, Brahmin-Hindu 0.3 percent.

 Cambodia National Day: 9th November

 Politics and Government of Cambodia: Democracy with the King as Head of State under the Constitution

 Area: 180,000 square kilometers  Located in the southwest of the Indochina Peninsula.

 Population: Approximately 14.7 million people, 90 percent Khmer, 5 percent Vietnamese, 1 percent Chinese and 4 percent others.

 Language: Khmer is the official language.  Followed by English, French, Vietnamese and Chinese.

 Cambodian national cuisine: Amok, a popular dish of Cambodia.  It is similar to Thai steamed mok.

 Cambodia's national animal: Kopri or kopai is the national animal of Cambodia.

 Cambodian Currency: Riel (Riel) is the currency of Cambodia.

 Date of joining ASEAN: Became a member of ASEAN on 30 April 1999.

 State flower: Dahlia (Rumdul)


3. Indonesia



Indonesia Capital: Jakarta is the largest city in Southeast Asia.

 Religions: 88% Islam, 8% Christian, 2% Hindu, 1% Buddhist, and 1% other religions.

 Indonesia National Day: August 17th

 Governing Politics: Democracy with the President as Head of State  And Chief Executive

 Area: 1,904,433 square kilometers (or 10 times that of Thailand)

 Population: 241 million people, comprised of many indigenous peoples.

 Language: Indonesian  Official language

 The national dish of Indonesia: Gado Gado consists of vegetables and grains.

 National animal of Indonesia: Komodo dragon

 Indonesian Currency: Rupiah

 Date of joining ASEAN: August 8, 1967, is one of the five countries established in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

4.Laos


Laos capital: Vientiane

 Religion: Buddhism (Theravada), Christianity, Islam, animism.

 Laos National Day: December 2

 The Politics of Laos: Socialist Republic  The only political party is the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

 Area: about 236,000 square kilometers

 Population: There are approximately 6.5 million people, consisting of 68% Lao lowland, 22% Lao Thoeng, 9% high Lao, total approximately 68 tribes.

 Language: Lao is the official language.

 Laos national food: Chicken Soup

 The national animal of Laos: Elephants are priceless animals that are very attached to the people of Laos.

 Lao currency: Kip

 Date of joining ASEAN: Joining ASEAN as the 8th country on 23 July 1997.

5.Malaysia


Malaysia Capital: Kuala Lumpur
 Religion: Islam, the national religion 60.4%, Buddhism 19.2%, Christianity 11.6%, Hinduism 6.3%, and others 2.5%.
 Malaysia Day: 31 August
 Politics and Government of Malaysia: Democracy in the Parliamentary System
 Area: Approximately 329,758 square kilometers (approximately 64% of Thailand)
 Population: Approximately 30,018,242 comprises 40% Malay, 33% Chinese, 10% India, 10% indigenous to Borneo.
 Language: Malay or Malay is the official language.  Followed by English and Chinese.
 The national dish of Malaysia: Nacile is often one of Malaysia's most popular dishes.  It is fried rice with coconut milk and herbs, satay is widely known food.  Preferring to use beef  Or grilled chicken on a charcoal grill  Eat with sweet, fragrant, spicy sauce  And side dishes
 National animal of Malaysia: Bengal tiger
 Malaysian currency: Ringgit

6. Myanmar



Myanmar capital: Naypyidaw (Naypyidaw)
 Religion: Buddhism 90%, Christianity 5%, Islam 3.8%.

 The Politics of Myanmar: Military Dictatorship  Ruled by a military government under the State Peace and Development Council
 Area: 677,000 square kilometers
 Population: Approximately 56,400,000 people, ethnic Burmese 68%, Tai Yai 9%, Karen 7%, Rakhine 3.50%, China 2.50%, Mon 2%, Kachin 1.50%, India 1.25%, Chin 1%, Ka.  Medicine 0.75% and others 4.50%
 Language: Burmese is the official language.
 Myanmar national food: Lahpet is a favorite dish of Myanmar.  Is fermented tea leaves eaten with a side dish
 Myanmar national animal: tiger
 Myanmar currency: Kyat

7. Philippines



Philippine capital: Manila
 Religion: 92.5 percent are Christian, 83 percent are Catholic and 9 percent are Protestant.
 Philippine National Day: June 12
 Philippine Politics: Republican democracy is headed by a president.  Directly elected by the people
 Area: 300,000 square kilometers
 Population: approximately 103,000,000 people.
 Language: Filipino and English  Official language
 Filipino national food: Adobo is one of the most popular dishes.  It is made from pork or chicken that has been marinated and seasoned with soy sauce, vinegar, chopped garlic, bay leaf, black pepper, cooked in the oven or fried and eaten as a side dish.
 National animal of the Philippines: The buffalo is the national animal of the Philippines.  In Tagalog it is called Carabao.
 Philippine currency: Peso

8. Singapore


Singapore Capital: Singapore Singapore is the only country that does not have a capital city.  Because it is an island of 710 square kilometers  Therefore administering the entire country as a single state
 Religion: Buddhism 42.5%, Islam 14.9%, Christianity 14.5%, Hinduism 4%, Atheist 25%.
 National Day: August 9th
 Politics and Governance of Singapore: Republican, Parliamentary, President as Head of State.  And has the Prime Minister as the head of the government  Parliament for a period of 5 at a time
 Area: 697.1 square kilometers
 Population: approximately 5,469,700 people comprising 75% Chinese, 15% Malay, 10% India.
 Languages: There are 4 official languages: English, Malay, Mandarin, and Tamil.
 Singapore's national cuisine: Laksa, a popular dish of Singapore.  It is Tom Yum noodles (with coconut milk), similar to Khao Soi of Thailand.  Rich curry with flavor of coconut milk, dried shrimp and chillies, topped with boiled shrimp and cockles
 National animal of Singapore: The lion, whose name is given to the country, comes from the Sanskrit word Singapura.
 Singapore currency: Singapore dollar
 Date of joining ASEAN: August 8, 1967, is one of the five countries in the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

9. Vietnam



Vietnam capital: Hanoi
 Religion: 70% of Mahayana Buddhism is Christian.  The rest are Muslim Confucianism.
 National Day: September 2
 Government of Vietnam: Socialist Regime  With the Communist Party being the only political party
 Area: 331,689 square kilometers
 Population: 89,693,000 people
 Language: Vietnamese is the official language.
 Vietnamese national food: Naem or Vietnamese spring rolls.  It is a popular dish of Vietnam.  One of the most famous local food
 The rice flour is made from rice, wrapped in rice, which can be chicken, pork, shrimp or Vietnamese sausage, combined with beneficial vegetables.

10.Thailand 


Thai capital: Bangkok

 National Day: December 5th
